For foreigners

Supporting foreigners applying for “status of residence” in Japan

The “status of residence” is the qualification for a foreigner to stay in Japan legally after entering Japan and is different from the “visa” required to enter Japan.

There are many business owners and companies who want to hire foreigners but do not know how to acquire an appropriate status of residence.

The status of residence is not always granted once you apply for, and you must meet the requirements set by the Immigration Bureau of Japan.

The permission requirements differ depending on the type of status of residence you want to apply for (29 types in total), so it is recommended that you consult an expert.

We support the following applications.

  • APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF ELIGIBILITY (CoE)
  • APPLICATION FOR CHANGE OF STATUS OF RESIDENCE
  • APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION OF PERIOD OF STAY
  • APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE
  • APPLICATION FOR PERMISSION TO ACQUIRE STATUS OF RESIDENCE
  • APPLICATION FOR PERMISSION TO ENGAGE IN ACTIVITY OTHER THAN THAT PERMITTED UNDER THE STATUS OF RESIDENCE PREVIOUSLY GRANTED
  • APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORIZED EMPLOYMENT

We also handle application for naturalization to the Legal Affairs Bureau.

We will talk to you for free for the first time and explain whether you meet the permission requirements.

In addition, we will carefully explain the documents required for application.
